After receiving a lot of positive feedback on my last post (thanks, everyone!), I was asked about who exactly I do follow. I have a whole list of blogs and website I continually turn back to. I’ve started to curate my Instagram follower list so that the accounts I am looking at actually make me feel happy, encouraged, and lifted up. These are a few of the women who do just that. They show me that the Internet can be a wonderful place after all.
A little note: If you’re a guy and you happen to be reading this, will you let me know via email or a comment below if you would like to learn about resources for men specifically? I’ll share a better list with you.
Fashion and Beauty
Katie Niemiec is the best style blogger I know. She also just so happens to be my sister, a woman I look up to and admire for more reasons than I can list here. Her blog is chock-full of relatable yet beautiful fashion inspiration and easy-peasy-yet-oh-so-pretty beauty tips. Katie recently launched her own digital magazine, too. This girl is on fire.
Kat and her co-founder Em are photographers with a passion for encouraging women in their true worth and reminding them that style radiates from within. I had the honor of shooting with Kat and writing for their site earlier this year. She is a total #girlboss (not to mention, so much fun to drink rose and watch The Bachelor with).
Fashion, fitness, entertaining, home decor, relationships—Jessie Artigue covers it all. Beautiful inside and out, Jessie talks about life in a way that’s honest yet encouraging. I love her cool California-girl style. Bonus: Sign up for her Pepper letters and learn more about blending faith with your most flavorful life.
I cannot say enough good things about Robyn Coale, R.D. She’s a dietitian, nurse, and all-around beautiful soul on a mission to end eating disorders and help women live fully free lives. I’ve had the pleasure of “doing life” in NYC with Robyn this past year, and she’s helped me a lot in my own recovery journey.
This sweet friend of mine moved from NYC back to Dallas last year, and we miss her dearly. But thankfully technology allows us to stay in touch. Elise writes regularly about her battle with late-stage lyme disease and having faith through it all. (She was also the first person willing to be featured on my site last year—thanks, Elise!)
Faith + Life
Where do I start with Hannah? Girlfriend never ceases to inspire and encourage me. I became a fan of her blog and book a while ago and took one of her virtual writing intensive courses last fall. I then found out we have mutual friends—I hope to one day tell her in person how much her work has positively impacted my life.
Meaghan and I kept hearing about each other but only knew each other from social media. When we finally met, we clicked right away. We are similar in many ways, and I love musing and dreaming big with her. I promise you’ll be encouraged when you read more on her blog and in her guest post for my site.
I discovered Whitney’s blog through Robyn, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve never met her in person but she’s helped me through multiple tough times. Her site is all about navigating your 20s--relationships, career, your body—and learning to love yourself.
Steph writes at We Are Beautiful and she recently wrote for this site, too. Her heart is on fire for the Lord and she trusts in His plan. But she’s not afraid to tackle the hard stuff, too, and speaks with honest conviction.
After a brief bit of tension during our first meeting (I love Taylor Swift’s “1989”; she can’t stand it), we realized we basically needed to be friends. She’s a career coach, a baller writer, and a friend who loves without ceasing.

She Reads Truth (see also: He Reads Truth)
If you want to talk more about Jesus Christ and faith and what-the-heck-is-all-this-stuff, shoot me a message. I love meeting new people, whether virtually or in person, and gabbing about life.

Truly, He makes beautiful things.
